An energy storage tank is a device specifically designed to store energy, and its internal energy exists in the form of compressed gas, compressed springs, or lifted loads. Energy storage tanks meet the energy requirements of the system under different demands by storing and releasing energy.
The principle of energy storage tank:
An energy storage tank is a device specifically designed to store energy, and its internal energy exists in the form of compressed gas, compressed springs, or lifted loads. Energy storage tanks meet the energy requirements of the system under different demands by storing and releasing energy. Specifically, the working principle of energy storage tanks is based on their unique design and construction. In fluid power systems, an energy storage tank typically consists of a container capable of storing fluid and a valve for releasing or replenishing fluid. When the system is in the low demand stage, the energy inside the pump will be effectively stored in the energy storage tank; In the high demand stage, the energy storage tank can release the stored energy through its valve, thereby reducing the burden on the pump.
The function of energy storage tank:
Short term large oil supply: In hydraulic systems, if certain actuating components only require a large amount of oil for a short period of time in a working cycle, an energy storage tank can be used as an auxiliary oil source to meet the maximum speed and flow requirements of the system, while reducing the flow rate of the hydraulic pump and motor power, thereby saving energy consumption and reducing temperature rise;
System pressure maintenance: In the hydraulic system of a press or machine tool clamping device, an energy storage tank can maintain stable system pressure, ensuring that the system can provide stable pressure when needed;
Emergency energy: When the system power supply is interrupted or the prime mover fails, the energy storage tank can be used as an emergency energy source to ensure that the system can continue to operate;
Relieve pressure shock: In hydraulic systems, accumulator tanks can alleviate pressure shock and absorb pressure pulsation, reducing pressure fluctuations and vibrations caused by sudden start or stop of hydraulic pumps, sudden reversal of directional valves, etc;
Stable pressure fluctuations: The energy storage tank can stabilize the pressure fluctuations caused by changes in liquid temperature, ensuring the stable operation of the system.
