On the occasion of the 19th National Safety Production Month, in order to respond to emergencies, test the scientificity and operability of our company's emergency rescue plan for sudden accidents, do a good job in emergency rescue work for high-altitude falling accidents, ensure timely and effective rescue work in case of safety accidents, and minimize the losses caused by accidents, the company organized a "high-altitude falling emergency rescue plan drill" at 16:00 on June 20, 2020.

The simulated scenario for the drill is that at 4:00 pm, the workers are working on a high platform 2 meters above the ground. At 16:10, the operator suddenly slipped and failed to grasp the fixed object, falling to the ground with a fractured calf and unable to get up. After calling for help, other personnel immediately stopped the operation and called the onsite safety officer to report. After hearing the report, the safety officer reported to the responsible leader and immediately arranged for emergency personnel and vehicles to arrive at the scene. The rescue team set up a cordon on site and evacuated unrelated personnel. The medical nursing team carried emergency drugs to disinfect, bandage, and fix the wounds of the injured, and arranged emergency rescue personnel to carry the injured onto emergency rescue vehicles on stretchers. The emergency rescue vehicles drove away from the scene. The leader of the emergency rescue leadership group announced the end of the emergency rescue drill and the start of the general accident handling phase.

By participating in onsite observation and practical exercises, the participants gained a clear understanding of emergency rescue procedures, mastered the principles of emergency response in the event of an accident, enhanced their knowledge of emergency first aid, trained the rapid response mechanism of the emergency team, further improved the comprehensive emergency rescue level of the emergency rescue team, enhanced their ability to control hidden dangers and losses to the lowest extent in a timely manner, and improved the organizational, command, and emergency response capabilities of the emergency team.
