High pressure storage tank

High pressure gas storage tank, a metal tank that stores gaseous fuel. The storage pressure is 0.8-2 megapascals or even higher, hence the name. The volume inside the tank is fixed, and the storage capacity is adjusted according to its storage pressure. There are two types: cylindrical and spherical. When the storage capacity is large, spherical tanks are generally used.

The working principle of highpressure storage tanks mainly includes using the sealing and pressure resistance of the tank body to store compressed gas, and releasing the gas through the outlet valve when needed. Specifically, when the air compressor is working, it delivers compressed air to the storage tank, and the pressure inside the tank gradually increases. When the pressure reaches the set value, the air compressor stops working, and the compressed air in the storage tank is supplied to the gas equipment through the outlet valve. When compressed air is consumed by gas equipment, the pressure inside the tank gradually decreases. When the pressure drops to the set value, the air compressor restarts and replenishes compressed air to the storage tank

Different types of high-pressure storage tanks and their application scenarios:
High pressure spherical tank: usually used to store large amounts of gas, especially in situations where capacity requirements are high. Spherical design can effectively utilize space and improve storage efficiency

Pressure vessel storage tank: This type of storage tank utilizes the compressibility of the air inside the tank to regulate and store water volume while maintaining the required pressure. It is suitable for situations that require stable water supply pressure, such as water supply systems in small and medium-sized villages

Advantages and disadvantages of high-pressure storage tanks:
Advantages:
Stability: It can stabilize system pressure and reduce pressure fluctuations.
Flexibility: Suitable for various occasions, especially under normal power supply conditions.
Less investment: Compared to traditional water supply facilities, the construction and maintenance costs are lower.
Disadvantages:
Limited regulating ability: small regulating water volume, fast pressure decay.
High operating costs: The pump starts frequently, resulting in high operating expenses.
